When choosing what to paint for Outlander, this moment stood out. Jamie asks if the intense feelings he has for Claire are typical. She tells him, "This isn't normal, it's different". This scene serves as a moment of deepening love. We see them, on a picnic blanket, eyes locked, with an understanding that they are both forever changed. And so, I wanted to paint it. In the show, this scene is set on a wet, windy hill. I chose to add magenta heather surrounding them to contrast them into the Scottish landscapes. 
 
The painting comes in a beautiful antique wooden frame, deep in colour, to match the tones of the piece. Dimensions: Height - 16.5 Inch , Length - 20.5 Inch , Depth - 1.5 Inch.
