This is a PRINT of  my oil painting Inspired by Greta Gerwig's 2019 adaptation of Little Women, a story written by Louisa May Alcott. This up-cycled oil painting features Jo and Laurie (Teddy) on an afternoon stroll, in which Laurie can no longer contain his feelings. Through a knowing look, Jo exclaims 'no' to which he replies, "it's no use, Jo".
 
This story is so beloved, and each film adaptation ignites a new generation of a fan base. This fan art is an ode to, specifically, the 2019 adaptation, however, I hope it reminds everyone of all the versions of the heartwarming story written so long ago that is still making people happy.
